Arsenal Testhouse is an independent certification institute, which was founded in 1998, for contactless MIFARE based systems and offers reliable functional testing and certification of such systems from a technically competent perspective.
With its experience in certifying contactless transmission via an RF interface, the MIFARE Certification Institute of Arsenal Testhouse substantially contributes to the trouble-free functionality of MIFARE systems globally.
This results in more than 200 certified cards, inlays and readers to date. The experience and results obtained will be integrated into further standards development by national and international committees, making the MIFARE Certification Institute a major contributor to worldwide interoperable MIFARE systems.

The Digital Design Engineer will have a prominent role in the design and development of VHDL RTL for SoC for test devices. The central challenge in this position is the design and development of VHDL for Digital Signal Processing and digital boards under the constraints of high quality, high reliability, high performance, low power and unattended operation.
Your tasks:
• Perform VHDL RTL design to integrate modules at SoC level
• Design modules for SoC and customized boards
• Simulate at the module level and SoC level to guarantee design objective specification functionality and timing
• Design of Datatransfer for High Speed DAC / ADC
• Run and debug gate level simulations at SoC level
Your qualifications:
• Ongoing or completed technical degree in the field of telecommunications, informatics or computer engineering
• Xilinx SoC -Zynq and toolset (ISE, EDK, SDK) experience required
• VHDL / VERILOG
• Hardware/firmware troubleshooting
• Digital Signal Processing algorithm design/test/implementation
• Test equipment operation (high speed oscilloscope, network analyzer, signal generator)
• Experience in schematics and PCB design is an advantage

In this position, you will be involved with software development for compliance test application software for IoT devices. You will specify, implement and test software modules with real time visualisation of Big Data in C#, .NET.. Your duties also include development of application software to handle the user input parameters with soft keys, dialogues, remote commands and the graphical representation of measurement results. Other responsibilities includes documentation, software integration, testing and building releases.
Your tasks:
• Design, implementation and testing of modern desktop applications for testing automation software with WPF, C # .NET and SQL Databases

Your qualifications:
• Ongoing or completed technical degree in the field of telecommunications, informatics or computer engineering
• Excellent knowledge of C#/ .NET programming and the use of design patterns
• Good knowledge of C or C++ programming for embedded designs

The central challenge in this position is the design and development of feature-rich embedded software under the constraints of high quality, high reliability, high performance, low power and unattended operation.
Your tasks:
• Design and development of embedded software in C++ and C for new and existing products.
• Provide advanced application support to sales, marketing, and customer service personnel as needed.
• Propose concepts and improvements for new and existing designs and techniques.
Your qualifications:
• Ongoing or completed technical degree in the field of telecommunications, informatics or computer engineering
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in development of embedded system with C/C++
• Good knowledge of C/C++ programming and the use of design patterns

Your tasks:
• Development of complex test hardware solutions for the IoT and mobile telecommunication area
• Hardware development and component design
• Design of Schematics and HF PCB’s
• Selection and evaluation of components
• Simulation of Board characteristics
Your qualifications:
• Ongoing or completed technical degree in the field of telecommunications, informatics or computer engineering
• Multilayer digital circuit board development including design, schematic capture and board layout
• Schematic and PCB design experience to component level in Altium Designer
• Good knowledge of C/C++ or C# programming
